One of the last teams I had as Scrum Master was the Green team, in the transformation where it was, the names of the teams corresponded to colors, I had already had the orange team, but I wasn't with them since the beginning. Therefore do not participate when they chose their color and formed their identity from Identity Symbols. This support went straight to a team.
How I did it
During the Team discovery, in addition to looking for members to know each other more, using personal maps and team canvas (through which we agreed on purpose, roles, tools, etc.), we had to choose a color for the team, the color that It was chosen was green.
I told you at some point that many teams chose symbols (I had read an article of m3.0). As the weeks went by, different ideas emerged first from green beer until an idea that the team had an Irish, goblin-like air.
The team designer designed cartoons of the team members and later we even had a team banner, which we took to each Sprint review, each team member was proud to belong to the green team.
What went well
What didn't go so well
At first we had another symbol, that was just green beer but it didn't make sense to us all. We had to look for something that made sense to us.
